Thanks so much, Maureen – you’re welcome here anytime! I’m sure that my cousin, Vickie, would want me to tell you hello – she spoke so highly of you and I can see why 🙂

PS – if you have any words of wisdom on this blogging business, I’d love to hear them!

Hi Brie, My name is Kathy Sutherland and I just found your blog….I, too, love to cook, but being a single mom, don’t have a whole lot of time for that! Anyway, I just wanted to introduce myself here as I am a very old friend of the Guilfoyle family…I remember when Eric was born! …although, I don’t think Eric would remember me. I was best friends with Dennis’ brother Timmy. I keep up a little bit with the happenings of the Guilfoyle family through facebook and heard you were joining their family. Anyway, congratulations on your marriage, and I look forward to trying out these recipes!

What a pleasant surprise – thanks so much for stopping by, Kathy – any friend of the Guilfoyle family is a friend of mine! We had some great pics up at the wedding of Timmy, Murray and Roberta – same thing on my side for those who we knew were there in spirit.

Eric’s entire family is so wonderful – I lucked out to become a part of such a great group of people.

Thank you for the well wishes – that means so much to myself and my new husband (who, I’m sure remembers you!)

      Take care!!
PS – I put a “quick” tag on my recipes that don’t take up a ton of time – those are a good place to start if you’re pressed for time! Enjoy 🙂

Wow…i just loved your Visual Recipe Index. Is there a possibility that you can share with us how you did it. Am a blogger

Thanks so much Judith – I really appreciate the compliment – especially since it’s coming from another blogger! My secret is I have an amazing coworker who’s a web whiz, but HER secret is HTML tables.

      Check it out:

Basically, this creates a grid within which you can place pictures. You’ll want to get into the HTML portion of your post and I found it’s best to just play around. Practice makes perfect!

PS – I’m a graphic designer and so a lot of the fun stuff comes in Photoshop – it’s all just laying colors and text over images – smoke and mirrors 🙂

Got something to say?
